Simple Strawberry Crumble (Oatmeal Cookie Crisp) Recipe

Strawberry Crumble has fresh strawberries, strawberry pie filling and a sweet and buttery oatmeal cookie mix oat crumble topping. Vanilla ice cream goes well with baked strawberry sauce.  

– 2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling – 3½ cups chopped fresh strawberrie – 2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 1 bag (17.5 oz) oatmeal cookie mix – 1 cup whole old-fashioned oat – 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter – Vanilla ice cream

Preheat the oven to 375℉. Coat a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.

Add strawberry pie filling, sliced strawberries, and vanilla essence to a large basin. Gently mix until completely blended. Spread the strawberry mixture evenly in the pan.

Add whole oats and dry oatmeal cookie mix to a separate bowl. Stir to mix. Add the softened butter and beat on medium-high speed with an electric hand mixer until crumbly and blended.

Add crumble on top of the strawberry mix in the pan. For 35 to 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit starts to bubble around the sides.

Step 4

After making the strawberry crumble, let it sit for a few minutes. Then, serve it warm with vanilla ice cream on top.
