Chocolate Covered Espresso Spiced Pretzels Recipe

The easiest Chocolate-Covered Brown Sugar Espresso Spiced Pretzels. These chocolate-covered pretzels are festive “foolproof” snacks. Butter, vanilla, brown sugar, espresso, chocolate, and salted pretzels. These sweets rock! The pretzels all taste like vanilla and espresso. 

– 1 bag (16 ounce) salted pretzel – 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – 1/3 cup brown sugar – 2-3 tablespoons instant espresso powder – 1 pinch cinnamon (optional) – 12 ounces milk, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate, melted – Flaky sea salt for topping

Start with a 325-degree oven. Parchment two baking sheets. Toss pretzels with melted butter and vanilla in a bowl.

Mix brown sugar, espresso powder, and cinnamon in another basin. Place pretzels on baking sheet after tossing with half the sugar.

Step 2

Put any remaining sugar on each pretzel. Bake pretzels for 8–10 minutes to mildly brown. Sugar burns, so be careful. Remove from oven and cool.

Step 3

Melt chocolate. Place pretzels on parchment-lined baking sheets after dipping in melted chocolate.

Step 4

Repeat with remaining pretzels. Set by freezing for 10 minutes. Refrigerate in an airtight container.
