Pretzel Snickers Chocolate Chip Bars. Freshly made chocolate chip cookies, salted pretzels, and caramel Snickers bars. No one can resist these delectable cookie bars. Each mouthful is crispy on top but soft and gooey inside, with melting chocolate and caramel pockets. An optional pinch of sea salt adds a salty-sweet accent.

– 2 sticks (1 cup) salted butter– 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar– 1/4 cup granulated sugar– 2 large eggs, at room temperature– 1 tablespoon vanilla extract– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour– 3/4 teaspoon baking soda– 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks– 1 cup chopped Snickers bars…or more!– 1 cup mini pretzel twists, roughly crushed– Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling

Heat the oven to 350°F. For a 9x13 baking dish, use parchment paper. Mix butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl.

Beat eggs one at a time until mixed. Beat in vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix in chocolate, Snickers, and 1/2 cup pretzels.

Press the dough into the baking dish. Press remaining pretzels into dough. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown and doughy in the centre.

After baking, sprinkle with flaky salt. Allow to cool and store in an airtight jar for up to 5 days.Or eat heated...Delicious and recommended!
