– 1 cup All-purpose flour – ½ cup Black cocoa powder or use dutch process cocoa powder – ½ cup Oreo crumbs 4 oreos blended into a fine crumb – ½ teaspoon Baking powder – ½ teaspoon Baking soda – ½ teaspoon Salt – 2 Large eggs room temperature – 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract – ¾ cup White granulated sugar – ½ cup Buttermilk room temperature. Or sour cream or greek yogurt. – 5 tablespoon Unsalted butter melted and cooled – 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chip – 4 tablespoon Milk or heavy cream – 3 tablespoon Milk – 2 tablespoon Oreo crumbs plus extra to top the donut – Oreo pieces for topping the donut
Heat the oven to 350°F. Apply nonstick baking spray to two donut pans.Mix flour, black cocoa powder, Oreo crumbs, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large basin. Set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine eggs, vanilla, sugar, buttermilk, and melted butter (chill to room temperature first). Pour wet ingredients over dry and whisk just until incorporated.

After the batter has been poured into a piping bag, the end should be snipped off. As the cake batter is piped into the donut pan, it should be approximately ½ full.

Bake 10-15 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean. After 10 minutes in the hot pans, move them to a cooling rack to finish cooling.

Add milk and chocolate chips to a glass measuring cup. Microwave for 20 seconds, stirring carefully between intervals.

Pour the melted glaze into a basin large enough to dunk the donuts. Add Oreo crumbs. Add more milk to thin the glaze.

The donuts should be dipped in the glaze before being placed on a cooling rack. Extra Oreo pieces and Oreo crumbs should be sprinkled on top.
