A big bowl should be used to sift the flour. Baking powder, baking soda, and salt should be added by hand.

Sugar, eggs, melted butter, buttermilk, and vanilla extract should be whisked together in a separate dish as well.

Pour the wet stuff into the dry stuff. Do not beat the mixture too much. Wait ten minutes. In this way, the leavening agent can rise.

Preheat a griddle or big pan to 350°F or medium heat. Before adding pancake batter, melt 1 tablespoon of butter on the griddle.

Make tiny pancakes using a ¼ measuring cup. Let the pancakes set for 3–4 minutes to remove bubbles and golden the bottom. Flip pancakes. Cook until golden brown, 2-3 minutes.

Before adding the pancake mixture to the next batch, some more butter should be melted. Spread butter and syrup over top and serve warm.
