Italian Mac And Cheese

Italian-inspired comfort food! Italian Mac And Cheese is cheesy and herbaceous and takes under 30 minutes to make! Penne are smothered in a creamy mozzarella cheese sauce with Italian seasoning and parmesan.  

1 pound penne ¼ cup butter ¼ cup all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning 2 cups milk 3 cups cheese 1 cup Parmesan cheese ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes



Cook pasta until al-dente in a large salted pot of boiling water according to package instructions. Drain, rinse cold, and set aside.

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and Italian seasoning.

Cook, whisking constantly, for two minutes. When the mixture thickens, add the milk and whisk.
