Homemade Mango Salsa Recipe

This simple mango avocado salsa adds colour and flavour to any main dish! Make it in summer to take advantage of mango season! 

INGREDIENT

– 1 large ripe mango peeled and finely chopped (about 1.5 cups) – 1 large ripe avocado – ¼ cup finely chopped red onion – 1 large jalapeno seeded and finely chopped* – 3 Tbsp fresh lime juice – 1 pinch sea salt to taste

Peel and chop mango and avocado into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife. Watch this YouTube video on mango cutting and dicing if you've never done it.

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix chopped mango and avocado in a bowl. Also finely chop the red onion and jalapeno. Jalapeno seeds must be removed for mild salsa.  

Step 2

Add finely chopped red onion, jalapeno, lime juice, and sea salt. Blend everything well. Taste the salsa and add sea salt or lime juice to taste.

Mango salsa is great for tacos, burrito bowls, and chips and dip! Many of your favourite recipes can use it!
