Fall Harvest Peanut Picnic a Family Hike Recipe

I have no idea where to begin. We have numerous topics and photographs to discuss today.  I may be a little early with today's fall-inspired picnic, but I can't help myself. Mountain mornings are cool and leaves are changing. Especially sharp. Like 30°F frost CRISP. Autumn has here, and I'm enjoying it. 

Ingredient

– 6 halved croissants | handmade | store-bought  – 6 tbsp applebutter  – Smucker's Organic Natural Chunky Peanut Butter, 6-12 teaspoons  – Two honeycrisp or pink lady apples thinly sliced  – 6 sharp cheddar slices  – Top with peanut granola (recipe below)

Spread 1 tablespoon peanut butter on the bottom of each croissant after spreading apple butter.

Add cheddar cheese and thinly cut apples. Sprinkle granola.

Place the top half of the croissant over the granola and spread the remaining tablespoon of peanut butter.

Serve or carefully wrap in plastic for 1 day.
