Warm the oven up to 350°F. Cover a 9x5 loaf with baking spray that doesn't stick. Put parchment paper along the bottom and two sides. Spray it again.

Melt butter in the microwave. Allow 5 minutes of cooling before using. Mash bananas while waiting. Mashing on a plate with a fork or potato masher is easier.

Mix butter, brown sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and eggs in a bowl. Add mashed bananas and stir again.Add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Fold to combine. Do not overmix.

Melt butter in a small basin. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and sugar. Combine. It should combine well into batter. Avoid making it too thin.

Pour ⅓rd batter into the pan. Dollop cinnamon mixture with 1 teaspoon. Use ⅓rd of the cinnamon mixture. With a butter knife, stir it in. Add another ⅓rd of batter and ⅓rd of cinnamon mixture to the second layer.

Give it one last stir. Add the rest of the cinnamon mix on top. Toss it in with the butter knife.55 to 65 minutes in the oven. Put a toothpick in the middle and bake until it comes out clean.

Ten minutes should pass in the pan before moving it to a rack to cool. Let it cool all the way down before cutting it.
