Coffee Chocolate Chip Blondies Recipe

These gooey Coffee Chocolate Chip Blondies scream "make me, eat me." Contains nutty browned butter, brown sugar, real maple syrup, coffee, and sea salt. Great everything about these chocolatey coffee-swirled blondies.  

– 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) salted butter – 1/2 cup maple syrup – 1 cup brown sugar – 2 egg – 1-2 tablespoons vanilla extract – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 1-2 tablespoons instant espresso or coffee powder – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chip – Flaky sea salt (optional)

Heat the oven to 350°F. For a 9x13 baking dish, use parchment paper.

Put butter in a medium pot over medium heat. Brown the butter for 2-3 minutes till it smells toasted.

Stir in brown sugar and maple syrup after removing from heat. Let cool 5 minutes.

Whisk eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder, espresso/coffee powder, and salt. Just blend. Mix in chocolate chips.

Step 4

Spread the dough in the dish. Bake until center is just set, 18-22 minutes. Season with sea salt. Cut and eat bars!
