Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding Recipe

Chocolate croissant bread pudding is a rich, luxurious, and quick dessert made with flaky croissants, dark chocolate, and a few simple ingredients!

– 6 large egg yolk – 2 cups (473ml) milk – 1 cup (237ml) heavy cream – 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon* – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 6 croissants (about 1 pound/454g), cut into 1-inch piece – 4 ounces (113g) dark chocolate, cut into small chunk

Butter a baking dish that is 9 inches round.

Mix the egg whites, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl with a whisk.

Put the chocolate and bread in there. Mix everything together. Move the mixture to the dish that has been prepared.

If necessary, press the bread down into the liquid. Give it time to cool down while you heat up the oven.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you stick a knife into the middle and it comes out clean, it's done. You can serve it hot or cold.
