Hazelnut-chocolate Chip Brown Butter Blondies Recipe
Brown butter with hazelnuts and chocolate chips Blondies are full of yummy things like chocolate chips, nuts, and toffee bits.
INGREDIENT
– 1 & 1/4 cups unsalted butter– 2 cups all-purpose flour– 3/4 teaspoon baking powder– 1/2 teaspoon salt– 2 cups packed dark brown sugar– 2 large egg– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract– 1 cup coarsely chopped hazelnut– 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chip– 1/2 cup toffee bit
Warm up some butter in a medium-sized pot. Melt the butter and start to foam it over medium-low heat.
Step 1
INSTRUCTIONS
Stir the food every now and then as it cooks until brown spots appear on the bottom of the pan and the butter starts to smell nutty.
Step 2
Take the pan off the heat and let it cool down a bit. You can strain the butter to get rid of the browned bits if you want to.
Step 3
Warm the oven up to 350°F. To make a 9"x13"x2" baking pan, grease it. The flour, baking powder, and salt should all be mixed together with a whisk. Put away.
Step 4
You can mix the brown sugar and browned butter by hand or with an electric mixer set to medium speed. One at a time, add the eggs and mix well after each one. Add the vanilla and stir.
Step 5
Turn down the mixer's speed. Slowly add the flour mixture and mix it in until there are only a few flour streaks left.
Step 6
Now add the chocolate chips, toffee, and hazelnuts and mix them in. (The dough will be thick).
Step 7
Spread the dough out evenly in the pan that has been prepared. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean.
